It's funny, I spend quite a lot of time surfing the net on designer websites, dreaming of clothes, shoes and accessories that I have a vague hope of being able to afford one day. I love designer clothes in general, with a few exceptions (Marc Jacob's sideways heels which totally defy logic in my book).
Tonight, however, I was on net-a-porter and found myself absolutely entranced by Vivienne Westwood. Anglomania, Red Label - I love it all. It makes me start to wonder "is two thousand pounds too much for a corset top?" I got to thinking, if a movie was made of my life, which fashion house would I want to clothe me? Anna Sui's deep purples h

But I looked back at Vivienne's pages and thought, "this is me". Everything seems moulded to fit my personality - the colours (apart from a slight lack of pink), the beautiful draping, the lines which I know would be flattering to my figure type.
So, if in a few decades time they decide to make a film of my life, I will be giving Vivienne a call. She is definitely the Grande Dame of British fashion and I would love to be dressed by her.
Maybe with some tartan and wrap dresses thrown in.
